Creating inclusive classroom culture
through student-driven discussions
Benefitting from a diversity of ideas and perspectives.
Class discussions double student achievement (Hattie, 2015), but it is hard to give all students the opportunity to participate. In a typical class discussion, less than 50% of students actively contribute. Parlay’s software tools help teachers facilitate discussions that are student-driven and inclusive, increasing average participation rates to over 80%. If inclusive classrooms are part of your goals as a school or district then we would love the opportunity to tell you more about our work.
